The Zoning Board of Appeals hears and decides all questions that arise in administration of the Township zoning ordinance. It determines interpretations of the zoning ordinance, hears variance requests, hears appeals from administrative determinations made by the Planning Commission, and other matters identified in the zoning ordinance.

Our Zoning Board of Appeals consists of five members. One of the members must be a member of the township Planning Commission, and one may be a member of the Township Board of Trustees as an “ex-officio” member. Each member must be a resident of the Township and they serve staggered 3-year terms.
